Did you miss out to purchase Xiaomi Mi 3 in India? Here is a good news for you! This Chinese handset will come back to India during Diwali. Let’s discuss about this smartphone news through this post.

With the shocking hit of the Xiaomi Mi 3, the officials of the Xiaomi are planning to launch more Mi 3 phones in India. Earlier this year, Xiaomi released the model Mi 3 and got a huge success in Indian smartphone market. Besides, limited number of phones were available for purchase and suddenly disappeared as the company was focused on Redmi 1S sales. Now, officials are planning to launch the Xiaomi Mi 3 again in India on this Diwali (October 22nd). Reports say that the company has stopped the manufacturing of the Redmi 1S and started to trade the Mi 3 devices.

The International Vice President of the company, Hugo Barra, said that the company is forecasting to sell 100,000 Mi 3 handsets when India celebrates the Diwali festival of this year (2014). Within a week, about 60, 000 Xiaomi Mi 3 phones were sold out through the e-Commerce site Flipkart in the month of July. Xiaomi is going to launch a new feature called “Priority Pass” to place the Mi 3 unit in the Filpkart cart for the folks who have tried many times to buy this phone but couldn’t grab it last time.

Now, it would be good to recall the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 3. This splendid smartphone comes with the 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 1080 X 1920 pixel resolution. The model offers two phones with the internal memory of 16 GB and 64 GB with the 2GB RAM. The primary camera of the phone is 13 Mega Pixels with dual LED Flash. The features of the camera are face detection, Geo-tagging and touch focus. The secondary camera is about 2 Mega pixels with 1080P. Mi 3 has the Android version 4.4.2 ((KitKat). The chipset is of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor and its 3050 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery lasts for long hours.

With these attracting specs, Xiaomi Mi 3s were sold out in India in the month of July with the price-tag INR 13,999 ($230). The performance of this smartphone is quite good but some users experienced heat problems while paying the games or browsing the web. Returning to India, Xiaomi will get more customers and more fame with this Mi 3 handset. Offering decent specs within one phone with almost low-cost price would help Xiaomi to get success with the comeback of Mi 3.

Manu Jain, the Xiaomi’s head of India at Global Mobile Internet Conference in Bangalore, told that the Xiaomi Mi 3 will be back for flash sale on Filpkart during this Diwali season. The details such as exact date and the no. of phones that would go on sale were unknown till now.

I think that there would a stiff competition in the Indian smartphone market as you might be familiar with the details of the 3 newly released Android one phones by Google at low-cost price.
